BRUNO Mold & Trim presses offer a wide range of flexibility and customer input. Many mold and trim presses need to be customized in a number of ways to fit the application desired, especially with tooling. BRUNO offers separate hydraulic and pneumatic power packages to help integrate the tooling, and produce the correct parts. The most popular style trim presses range from Door Panel to Sun Visor applications. Molding presses by BRUNO have the ability to accept tooling from 200lbs to 20,000lbs or more. These machines can be used for SMC, cold molding, and comopression molding - with or without heating platens. T-SLOTS are common on the top and bottom surfaces for mounting the tooling press platens. For safety on molding presses that have a large daylight parameter, BRUNO uses a safety collet system, similar to those found on elevators. This allows the press to be stopped at any point of the downstroke or upstroke with the full weight of the tool.
